What a tasting looks like
Sip, and enjoy the view.
Tastings run about 90 minutes — five wines, typically one white and four reds, poured by the people who made them. As space allows, we welcome you to linger afterward over a glass or a bottle.

Before you arrive
- Book up to an hour ahead — if a time isn’t showing online, it’s already taken.
- Arriving more than 30 minutes late, or with more guests than booked, may mean we can’t seat you.
- Kids, dogs, and outside food aren’t allowed at this time.
Fees & cancellations
- The tasting fee is $35, waived with a two-bottle purchase per taster.
- We take a card to hold your reservation but don’t charge it ahead of time. Fees are waived at checkout depending on what you buy.
- No-shows and cancellations inside 24 hours will be charged the tasting fee for each guest.
Larger groups
- Weekend reservations are capped at six guests, and we can’t split groups across seatings.
- Annual Share members: we’ll do our best to accommodate a larger weekend group as availability allows — email info@altonwines.com.
- Monday–Wednesday we can host a private tasting for up to 10 — the whole place to yourselves, with a lineup you choose.
Monday through Wednesday
You choose the wines. We host.
Early in the week we can open the doors just for your group — a private tasting for up to ten, with no one else in the room. Tell us what you’d like to drink and we’ll build the lineup around it. We can also be more flexible here: dogs are welcome outside, and kids can join you.
