Annual Share Members · 2026 Season

A summer of
open fires & al fresco nights.

Our event series is one of the best parts of being an Annual Share member — from themed nights like Wine Camp to elegant Chef Spotlights, or our winemakers grilling for you. We like to mix it up each season.

Every 2026 event has sold out. Members, to be added to the waiting list for a seat, email info@altonwines.com.

Why we do this

Entertaining friends was how we came to appreciate wine as more than a drink — it became something to build a moment, a night, even a weekend around.

So we built a space for exactly that — somewhere to throw parties, fire up the grills on summer nights, set gorgeous tables for al fresco dinners, and curate something special for you, our Annual Share members. The series is a chance to slow down, raise a glass, and let us entertain you.

For 2026, each member may purchase 2 tickets per event (member + 1 guest). Groups of members hoping to sit together — reach out, and we'll do our best to seat you at the same table.

Spring Pickup Road Trip

Alton & Hattaway's @ No Boat Brewing — Snoqualmie, WA

Our favorite road trip of the year. What started as a 2021 experiment is now the gathering everyone asks about. Yes — Richard and Lindsay Hattaway join us as honorary crew for the weekend, plus a collab beer with David to kick off spring.

$35 — extended tasting of the spring lineup, 4 paired snacks, and a 4oz pour of the collab beer. Tickets automatically switch your shipment to pickup; we'll have it ready at No Boat.

Chef Spotlight: Mike Easton

Bar Bacetto · Alton Tasting Room

Many of us fell for Bar Bacetto, tucked in Waitsburg, for its transportive Italian feel. But the bold, seafood-forward flavors of Spain are chef's favorite to create. Pair that with a love of open fire and a spotlight like no other takes shape. An evening with Mike and Erin Easton — romantic and transportive, like visiting them on home turf.

$150 per person (limit 2 per member). Includes happy-hour wine, your meal, and gratuity. Bottles available for purchase during dinner.

Chef Spotlight: Johnny Courtney

Atoma · Alton Tasting Room

We've followed the buzz around Atoma since they splashed onto the scene in 2024 — an almost-immediate James Beard finalist nod for Best New Restaurant. Chef Johnny Courtney (a Canlis alum) and his wife Sarah opened in a Wallingford craftsman with food that's elevated but approachable, and hospitality that feels like home. Expect an over-the-fire take on Atoma's signature flavors and a night full of energy.

$150 per person (limit 2 per member). Includes happy-hour wine, your meal, and gratuity. Bottles available for purchase during dinner.

Chef Spotlight: Richard Hattaway

Hattaway's on Alder · Alton Tasting Room

We're all drinking more white wine lately — and with that comes more seafood, especially in peak summer. Many of our themes with Richard and Lindsay were born cooking together at home when something just hit. This year: a white-wine-and-seafood extravaganza with a preppy East Coast summer feel — lobstah rolls, some kind of crab, and all the whites to choose from. (Reds, too.)

$150 per person (limit 2 per member). Includes happy-hour wine, meal, and gratuity. Given the seafood focus, we can't accommodate dietary restrictions for this one.

Chef Kevin O'Connor
Sold Out · September
Fri & Sat, Sept 11–12 · 5–9:30

Chef Spotlight: Kevin O'Connor

Alton Tasting Room · Two Nights

Kevin holds a special place here — back in 2022 he was the first out-of-state chef to say "yes" to the trip up to Walla Walla, from just a DM and a phone call. His bio said it all: "I prefer an open fire to a traditional kitchen." Perfect, because that's all we have. We're thrilled to welcome him back for a fall release celebration across two nights — indulgence and surprise, on brand for Kevin, and a chance to fill the table with our new Bordeaux lineup.

$150 per person (limit 2 per member). Includes happy-hour wine, meal, and gratuity. Bottles available for purchase during dinner.

A look back at last year's harvest party.

Large Format Members · October
Saturday, October 10 · 2–6

Harvest Party: Maximillian Petty

The Somm Hotel · Alton Production Facility, Walla Walla

Our season closes at peak harvest. This year's is bigger — more bites in the same walkabout format, and more pours to imbibe at your leisure. We're thrilled to welcome Max back, alongside special guests who know a lot about the wines we're offering in large format. An afternoon affair, so you can follow with dinner later in the evening.

Complimentary with a Single Barrel Large Format purchase in 2026 (limit 2 per member). Includes a taste of the current Large Format release, a sample of next year's Single Barrel, pours from our favorite wines of the year, and snacks.
