Upcoming events for our Annual Share members

Entertaining friends was a gateway drug into wine for us. We built the tasting room to pour wine, sure, but it was also a chance for us to build our dream entertaining space – somewhere to throw parties, fire up the grills on summer nights, set gorgeous tables for al fresco dinners, and curate special events for you, our Annual Share members. The summer event series is a chance to slow down, raise a glass and let us entertain you.

Thank you for your interest in our 2025 Annual Share event series.  All of the Chef Spotlights and the Harvest Party have sold out.  Please email info@altonwines.com to be added to waitlist if you have interest in attending any of these events.  Thank you for the continued support!

For the 2025 season, each member will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets per event (member + 1 guest). Any groups of club members looking to attend a dinner together please reach out to us and we’ll do our best to get you all into the same event.

AltonxByronJuly2024

CHEF SPOTLIGHT – Byron Gomez of Brutø Denver

Top Chef season 18, 2024 Michelin Star, 2x James Beard Award Semifinalist, Food Network Hot List For Influential Chefs of 2025

***SOLD OUT***

Saturday, June 7th 2025
5:00pm – 9:00pm
Venue: Alton Tasting Room

After working with Byron last summer, we invited him back on the spot. His energy and love for life, good food, and people is contagious. Our favorite anecdote from last year’s trip was that he and his team flew with over fifty pounds of frozen sauces they had created at Bruto, who does that?! People dedicated to their flavors and craft. After training under the chef worlds all-stars at Eleven Madison Park, competing on Top Chef PDX during Covid, and working in Aspen, Byron’s current home is at Brutø Denver. Starting in 2023 he completely reimagined the menu of this Michelin star restaurant to be his own. Jesse had the chance to go dine at Brutø this winter and confirmed, his food is out of this world whether it’s created in a top tier kitchen or hung over the firepit at Alton. This year’s theme will be a play on Bruto, out of the kitchen.

Tickets: $150 per person (limit 2 per Annual Share member).

Ticket price includes wine during happy hour, your meal, and gratuity. Bottles will be available for purchase during dinner.

From feeding our crew to pitching in throughout the evening, it truly felt like co-hosting. We are thrilled to bring Crafted Yakima back to dazzle you again this summer. Dan is now a 2-time finalist for the James Beard best chef northwest and continues to gain notoriety, also being a featured chef at Taste Washington in March. This year’s dinner will feature local bounty and creative twists, in chef Dan’s signature style.

We’ve met some big personalities in the last few years but Chad’s is as warm, enthusiastic, and heartfelt as it gets. To say his culinary journey has been interesting is probably an understatement. From starting out as a chef in the US Navy to honing his skills in Mexico, competing on Top Chef, owning and operating multiple restaurants in Spokane, Chad isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. His latest culinary pursuit, Trail Feast, is a bespoke, rugged, outdoor dining and camping adventure for his guests. We can’t wait to welcome Chad back and see what new outdoor cooking tricks he’s learned cooking in the wild. Expect a meat forward menu and bold flavors from this dinner.

Alton Brendan

July 12th: CHEF SPOTLIGHT: Brendan McGill, Seabird, Bainbridge Island

Bon Appetit 24 Best New Restaurants 2023, Seattle Met Best New Restaurant 2022, Dad, Forager, Entrepreneur

***SOLD OUT***

Saturday, July 12th 2025
5:00pm – 9:00pm
Venue: Alton Tasting Room

Brendan was born and raised in Alaska where, thanks to his upbringing, he was surrounded by wilderness and natural bounty. When he moved to Seattle to pursue a culinary career his appetite for discovery came with him. Ten years after the move Brendan opened Hitchcock, one of the OG farm-to-table restaurants in the PNW. Following that came a pair of cafe’s, pizzerias, a bakeshop, and an organic farm. You’d think this is enough to keep anyone busy, but alas, there was one more, Seabird opened in 2022 on Bainbridge Island and almost immediately garnered national recognition in Esquire, Bon Appetite and more. We had the pleasure of hosting Brendan last summer and were enamored with his overall vibe, crazy cool flavors, and how much fun we had working together. The creative streak runs deep with him, and the menu reflected just that. We’re thrilled to welcome Brendan back – and we’re really hoping he brings some of that amazing seafood, fresh from the Hood Canal. Expect an eclectic, seafood heavy menu with this dinner.

Tickets: $150 per person (limit 2 per Annual Share member).

Ticket price includes wine during happy hour, your meal, and gratuity. Bottles will be available for purchase during dinner.
