Upcoming events for our Annual Share members

Entertaining friends was a gateway drug into wine for us. We built the tasting room to pour wine, sure, but it was also a chance for us to build our dream entertaining space – somewhere to throw parties, fire up the grills on summer nights, set gorgeous tables for al fresco dinners, and curate special events for you, our Annual Share members. The summer event series is a chance to slow down, raise a glass and let us entertain you.

The 2024 Annual Share event series will be annouced via email to club members in mid January, with ticket sales to start early February, 12 bottle members first, followed by 6 bottle. 

For the 2024 season, each member will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets per event (member + 1 guest). Any groups of club members looking to attend a dinner together please reach out to us and we’ll do our best to get you all into the same event.

We have been watching Dan and Mollie Koommoo’s journey since we moved to Eastern WA and saying “we have to work with them!” A dynamic husband and wife duo, their Yakima restaurant’s growing accolades and popularity landed Dan on the nomination list for James Beard’s best chefs northwest last year. With a focus on foragers and farmers, much of their weekly menu is sourced within 100 miles of the restaurant. Expect their eastern WA spin on farm to table, with a hint of flare and elegance, to be the core of this menu. 

Tickets are required. This event is $130 per person and includes wine during happy hour. Bottles will be available for purchase during dinner. Due to the nature of the seasonal menu the only dietary restrictions we can accommodate are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free.

We have been really fortunate to meet great chefs through other great chefs. After competing on Bravo’s Top Chef (season 18 in PDX, if you want to get to know him) Byron traveled with the Eleven Madison Park team to do popups in Aspen and the Hamptons before settling down in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where he is now a chef, restaurateur, and outdoor enthusiast. A native Costa Rican who grew up in NY, Byron is a self taught chef. His energy is contagious and we can’t wait to have him in the house this summer.

We were fortunate to get connected with Zoi from some industry veterans who have seen her in action. After competing on Top Chef, Zoi has gone on to work in eponymous restaurants like Seattle’s Westward. Her stint there landed her Food & Wine’s Best New Chef award in 2015. After a pandemic move to Portland, she is consulting and working as a private chef. As you know, one of the themes with our featured chefs is food you can’t necessarily walk into a restaurant and get readily.  With her Greek heritage and passion for seafood we’re beyond excited to see what her menu will look like.

Every year we’ve done the pig a little bit differently and this year will be no exception. One thing we’ve learned working with Richard, if we have some lead time and a theme in mind, we’re going to have some fun with it. He and Joe share, among other common loves (read: cars, watches, smoking meat) a reverence for the avant garde cooking style of South American legend Francis Mallman. Thus this year, it’s going to be an Argentine/Barbacoa fusion, maybe some empanadas, and for sure, some perfect meaty pairings for our fall release wines. What a way to usher in the fall season.

Just when you can’t love Matt Dillon any more, he says “hey, maybe my buddy Logan wants to do a collab dinner with me next year?!” Logan Cox, owner and chef at Restaurant Homer in Seattle, as it turns out, is a delight in his own right, having them both here to host and create…We. Can’t. Wait. While Matt’s style leans hearty, rustic, and ever whimsical, Logan’s leans Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, the common thread, they both thrive cooking over a wood fire. We can’t wait to watch this duo of old friends co-chef and bring down the house for our last event of the season.
